Thank You Good Friends & Deacons!
Since 1962 we have cherished George and Judy. They, with all of you at ABC, have brought the love of God to generations and to us. We join with you in healing hopes and prayers and thanks for George and Judy and each one at/in ABC.
With Love & Thanks for the great “Messenger,” Norma & James Mason
Thanks From Pastor George:
Judy and I are overwhelmed by the initial response through the August 3 Benevolent Offering to support us in the expenses of medical treatments which I need. This was truly a “Love Gift,” and we can feel it. In this whole experience of surgery, chemotherapy, and adjusting to a new sense of mortality, we have never felt alone. The ABC Congregation has lifted us through prayer and reassuring words, so that we have always felt like we were floating above the turbulence. God bless you all!
Pastor George Van Alstine
Thank You!
On behalf of the Deacon Board, I would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who generously participated in the “Love Offering” for Pastor George.
God has richly blessed our church with the faithful service of Pastor George for over 35 years and our offering demonstrated a portion of our appreciation in a mighty way. I am very pleased to report that to date we have been able to support Pastor George and Judy with a gift in the amount of $6005.00 to assist with healthcare costs. We will continue to accept any future offerings designated for this purpose to provide everyone an opportunity to participate.
God’s grace and faithfulness never cease to amaze me. Yes, this is God’s church and we are His people. I’m honored to be a member of this church, to see God’s hand among our community and to witness the power of faith in action.
Let’s continue to lift our Pastor and his family up in prayer as he continues his chemotherapy treatments. May we continue to glorify God by demonstrating His love to one another and the provision of His mercy.
In Praise of Him,
Jackie Kelsey, Deacon Chair
